The Allan Witt Aquatic Complex is a family recreation facility in Fairfield, CA. SKW and Aquatic Design Group are working with the City of Fairfield to renovate the swim complex and incorporate four (4) new pools and support facilities.
An enclosed 50-meter recreation pool will be added to the complex. The Fairfield area is subject to windy conditions, thus a glazed glass enclosure with an opening roof is being developed to respond to the weather conditions. Other recreation pools include a zero-entry pool with play structures and a splash pool. A 3 to 6 foot depth competition pool is being designed to accommodate local swimming teams and competitive swimming. The renovation also includes a barbeque/picnic area, men’s and women’s locker rooms, an equipment room, a 1,000 s.f. meeting room and administrative/support areas.
