Antelope Community Park is a 43-acre multipurpose park. When the local high school district selected the adjacent site for their new high school campus, the Sunrise Recreation and Park District decided to capitalize on the joint-use opportunities of the park site. The first phase of this project includes a softball complex with three softball fields, restrooms, a snack bar, a children's play yard and gathering facilities. A seven court lighted tennis complex will be added, which includes a stadium court for tournament play, a children's play yard and gathering areas. The park will also includes a swimming complex with four pools, a snack bar, restrooms, locker rooms, a classroom and outdoor gathering facilities. Upcoming phases will include a community center, soccer fields, an amphitheater and passive areas containing the site's many heritage oak trees. The community park is a joint-use project between the County of Sacramento, Sunrise Recreation and Park District and the Roseville Joint Union High School District. Construction of phase I is in progress with an estimated completion of 2008.
