North Ridge Country Club

Fair Oaks, CA
North Ridge Country Club
The expansion/renovation of North Ridge Country Club was designed to resolve circulation issues and improve internal functional relationships. The solution created two separate spines of circulation. The more public avenue of circulation, supporting public social functions, begins at the main entry with porte cochere drop-off, and continues into the administrative area, meeting rooms and ballroom. The second avenue of circulation for club members is golfers' entry with bag drop. The avenue supports all golf functions; from men's and women's locker rooms to meeting and card rooms, central lounge and pro-shop to a terminus of private and main dining rooms and terraces in panoramic view of the course grounds. Doors in the cross-connecting corridor between the two spines formally separate the two functions. The kitchen, serving both functions, is also to be renovated and expanded.
