Being one of the first developments in this new community, SKW addressed issues with housing development teams, including noise controls, and campus access and other such concerns. Exterior materials pay respect to the neighboring homes, yet the school has the uniqueness expected of a project that provides a focal point of a new community. A learning resource center was added to the campus as part of a three-phase build out. The facility serves to segregate a socially active quad space from the quieter academic quad space, at the hub of the classroom complex. A central quad area with surrounding buildings makes supervision easy and allows administrators to easily secure the campus in off hours.
