The small pond was developed to serve as a reflecting pool and a reservoir for fire fighting purposes. The campus features a state-of-the-art learning resource center with interactive classrooms and TV studio. Administration functions are electronically linked to the Sierra College campus in Rocklin, CA. The campus is both fiber-optically interlinked to teaching and broadcasting, and with a neighboring high school district. The major site features are a hilltop and an extensive grove of native pine and spruce trees. The EIR Report required minimum disruption to the existing view sheds of this site from the surrounding community.
