A complete new clinic was designed to accommodate the increased demand for Sutter's Occupational Health,
Physical Therapy and Urgent Care services. The project was a fast track design-build tenant improvement.
Interior design services included programming, planning, schematics, design development, construction
documents and limited construction administration. Primary planning issues centered on determining
user group priorities and circulation patterns since administrative and
clinical functions were to operate
days and Urgent Care functions were to operate after hours, sharing common spaces. Included in the project
are reception and waiting, medical records, exam rooms, nurses' stations, providers' offices, procedure rooms,
X-ray, lab and drug screening, therapy rooms, exercise room, support areas, corporate administration and
marketing offices, conference areas, and a regional central billing department.
