ADA Compliance Remediation – Kaiser Roseville Medical Center

Roseville, CA

Stafford King Wiese Architects (SKW) completed a group of eleven separate ADA compliance projects for Kaiser Permanente.

Kaiser was required to prepare exhaustive accessibility surveys of all their buildings.  SKW identified each individual barrier with a unique number and photographs to illustrate the non-compliant condition.  After completion of the barrier remediation, photographic documentation was taken again in order to demonstrate compliance. The SKW team prepared detailed phased work plans and tracked all information in a database system.

This project included facilities assessments and ADA remediation at multiple hospital and medical office building facilities at Kaiser Permanente’s Roseville Medical Center and the Rancho Cordova Medical Office Building.   The scope of work included visual investigations and observations of each facility, as well as schematic design and construction documents for the removal of 2,060 barriers in 11 buildings including surrounding site barriers.
